How to Celebrate

The National Association for Home Care & Hospice joins with all in-home care and hospice providers in celebrating National Home Care Month and National Hospice Month. We encourage all providers along the health care continuum to plan celebrations in their communities to mark the occasion, celebrate their great contributions to the health care delivery system, and reaffirm their commitment to serve others.

NAHC has made the following material available as a public service to further the mission of home care and hospice and in appreciation for all our member agencies. Click on one of the buttons above the picture for celebration materials designed to provide innovative ideas and activities on how to celebrate National Home Care Month and/or National Hospice Month.

NAHC has developed three nationwide campaigns - "Home Care: Because there is no Place Like Home," "Hospice: Graduating to the Next Dimension," "Private Duty: Home Care Your Way," and "Home Care Aide: Caring Hands of Home Care" - to help recognize and applaud home care and hospice care givers.

Each themed campaign, through local and national festivities, advertising, and public relations activities, is designed to celebrate National Home Care Month and National Hospice Month while honoring those who dedicate their lives to caring for others. In addition, NAHC member agencies around the country are inviting local celebrities - from lawmakers to prominent citizens - to visit homebound patients as part of their National Home Care Month and National Hospice Month celebrations.
