The Home Care and Hospice Financial Management Association (HHFMA), an affiliate organization of the National Association for Home Care & Hospice, has accomplished much in its first year. In addition to launching our website (www.hhfma.org), listserv and e-newsletter, we also established a group of committees to bring about action including our: policy committee, benchmarking committee, listserv committee, newsletter committee, education committee and membership committee.

If you are not already a member of HHFMA, we would encourage you to join now. This professional association made up of financial management staff and consultants was developed specifically to meet the needs of home care and hospice financial managers. HHFMA offers members the latest industry information, targeted educational programming, the opportunity to be involved in policymaking efforts, expert support from its skilled staff members, and state-of-the-art financial data that can be used for benchmarking and strategic planning. Its goal is to bring home care and hospice to the highest level of achievement in financial management performance.
