ANNUAL MEETING 06

Silent Auction

This year, the 3rd Annual Silent Auction, will be an event to rival the previous years. Not only will you have the ability to bid on items such as VIP accommodations for two (2) nights at The Westin Casuarina Hotel, Casino and Spa in Las Vegas, Nevada; a hand painted skateboard bearing the original signature of skateboard champion Tony Hawk presented with framed photograph; and a striking print of the face of Lady Liberty by Thea Leopolous signed by President Bill Clinton; you will also have the ability to try your hand at some fun-filled games.

The proceeds from the Silent Auction will go to the Dream Makers Program for Terminally Ill Children, sponsored by The Caring Institute. In cooperation with Give Kids The World, the Dream Makers program is established to send terminally ill children and their families to Disneyworld, so that they may spend valuable time together and fulfill their last wishes. The Foundation for Hospice and Home Care would like to assist The Caring Institute in expanding the program to include terminally ill individuals from all age groups, granting their lifelong wishes -- whatever they might be. To accomplish this, we need your assistance in supporting this year’s Silent Auction as you have done so generously in the past two years.

The Silent Auction will be in the Home Care & Hospice Expo Hall starting Sunday evening and will conclude during Tuesday evening’s Gala.
