Hotel Information:

The Grand Hyatt Seattle, located only one block from the Convention Center, is the headquarter hotel for exhibitors

Snuggle up in a fluffy, white bathrobe and savor a cup of Seattle's famous coffee as you enjoy the breathtaking views across the Puget Sound. All this and a convenient location right by the Washington State Convention & Trade Center? Who said that the stars don't align.

Most importantly, NAHC is making sure that the hotel rooms are plentiful! The top commodity at last year's conference was a hotel room. This year, NAHC is planning to have a larger attendance than ever so lodging arrangments are of prime importance.

This year, NAHC has three headquarter hotels.

  • Attendees: NAHC has reserved the Sheraton Seattle Hotel and Towers as the headquarter hotel for attendees. Located adjacent to the Convention Center, it offers the Seattle's best in convenience, charm and service.
  • Exhibitors: The Grand Hyatt Seattle, located only one block from the Convention Center, is the headquarter hotel for exhibitors. Internationally recognized for its service and quality, the Grand Hyatt is one of the finest hotels in Seattle.
  • Speakers, Presenters, and other VIPs: The Westin Seattle is to be the headquarter hotel for speakers, presenters and other VIPs. With some of the best views of the area, the Westin Seattle combines both service, convenience and charm!

Whether you are staying at one of the headquarter hotels or any of the four other hotels listed below, NAHC has negotiated a special discounted rate during your stay in Seattle. NAHC members may not realize it but the size of our annual meeting is much bigger than those of most associations. NAHC's meeting size ranks in the top five percent which limits the number of cities that can host its convention. Our conference is is so large that it necessitates the use of a convention center. Only a few hotels are big enough to hold the entire meeting such as the Gaylord Palms, site of NAHC's 2003 meting in Orlando.

With meetings of this size, the local convention center typically requires NAHC and all others to use their housing bureau. In most cases, NAHC pays for this, last year paying $12 per reservation made by attendees. This is why attendees are discouraged from calling hotels directly. To make hotel reservations for Seattle, members are requested to print and fill out the housing reservation form and either fax it to (206) 461-5853 or mail it to:

    NAHC Housing Bureau
    c/o Seattle Housing Bureau
One Convention Place, 701 Pike Street, Suite 800
    Seattle, Washington 98101

The Housing Bureau must close 14 days prior to the meeting, to ensure all delegates receive their acknowledgments and confirmations in a timely manner. All new reservations inquiries will be directed to the hotels (if rooms are still available), or to the Seattle Hotel Hotline (a consumer reservations service).

All reservations must be completed through our housing service, either online or by phone 888/877-0255.
