Two New Members Inducted into HHFMA Hall of Fame

Two new members were welcomed into the Home Care & Hospice Financial Manager’s Association (HHFMA) Hall of Fame during the annual Financial Management Conference, which was held this week in Washington, DC. Bernard Lorenz, Founding Principal, Lorenz Consulting LLC, and Thomas E. Boyd, Principal at Boyd and Nicholas, Inc. become the latest inductees into HHFMA’s Hall of Fame.
Mr. Lorenz was inducted into the Hall of Fame for his, “dedication and wide-ranging support of the home care community over many years) his expert financial management of home health care and hospice, his essential participation in the formation of the Home Care and Hospice Financial Managers Association, his logical and insightful guidance on the many issues confronted by home care providers, and his advancement of the ideals of home care and hospice.”
Mr. Boyd was inducted into the Hall of Fame because of “his drive to secure professionalism in the financial management of home health care and hospice his ever-present willingness to support the home care community, his guidance of the Home Care and Hospice Financial Manager’s Association, his never-ending passion for accurate cost reporting, his unique and highly informative educational programs, his deep belief in a team concept in HHFMA, and his advancement of the ideals of home care and hospice.”
Both Mr. Lorenz and Mr. Boyd were inducted into HHFMA’s Hall of Fame by Bob Simione, Chairman of the HHFMA, who was joined by Val J. Halamandaris, President of the National Association for Home Care & Hospice (NAHC); Andrea Devoti, NAHC’s Board Chair and Bill Dombi, NAHC’s Vice President for Law and the Executive Director of the HHFMA.
