Home Care and Hospice Salary & Benefits Studies Underway

Hospital & Healthcare Compensation Service (HCS) announced that its 2014‑2015 HOMECARE and Hospice Salary & Benefits surveys now are being conducted. Recognized as the standard for reliable and comprehensive compensation data for home health, the HOMECARE study is a cooperative effort between HCS and the National Association for Home Care & Hospice (NAHC). HCS and NAHC encourage agency participation in this most important survey.
TheHOMECARE Report will cover salary, hourly and per visit data on 63 jobs. Data are reported by county, state, geographical region, auspice type, and revenue size.
TheHospice study, which isa cooperative effort between HCS, NAHC, and the Hospice Association of America, will cover salary, hourly and per visit data on 63 jobs. Data are reported by state, geographic region, auspice type, and revenue size. Information on fringe benefits, shift differentials, and turnover rates are covered in both studies.
Completed questionnaires for both studies should be sent to HCS by August first. The HOMECARE Report will be published in October; the Hospice Report will be available in November.
Participants in the studies merit substantial discounts on the published Reports. The findings will be published both in hard copy and PDF. The prepaid participant rate is $150 for either format, while the nonparticipant rate is $325.
