CMS Seeking Volunteers to Complete Brief Survey of Voluntary Survey of LTPAC Providers’ Use of Technology
February 22, 2015 12:18 PM
CMS recently sent a notice to its listservs asking Long-term and Post-Acute Providers to participate in a voluntary survey to help CMS understand the role technology is playing in the delivery of health care services in these settings.
This survey will help CMS identify the benefits and challenges providers encounter when participating in CMS programs that promote health care interoperability.
Recently, NAHC’s affiliate, the Home Care Technology Association of America (HCTAA), helped to develop formal comments for the Long Term and Post Acute Care Health IT Collaborative in response to the Federal Government’s Health IT strategy for 2015 – 2020. HCTAA is a member of the organization, and served to make sure that the home care and hospice community’s voice was reflected in the comments that were ultimately submitted to the Department of Health and Human Services.
The survey will remain open until March 3, 2015.
