The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has issued its proposed rule governing FY2017 hospice payment and related policy changes, which include CMS’ proposed next steps in the evolution of its Hospice Quality Reporting Program (HQRP) and its plans for public reporting of hospice quality data. NAHC is hosting a web event regarding the proposed rule. During the program, NAHC experts will provide in-depth details of the changes and analysis of the potential impact of these changes on hospice operations and policies.
Following are the objectives of the program:
Describe the elements of this rule;
Offer insights into the implications for Medicare participating hospices;
Offer guidance on steps that can be taken to prepare for implementation.
