Eating Well as You Get Older: NIH Releases Information on Healthy and Unhealthy Fats

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) recently posted new information on their website, NIHSeniorHealth.gov, regarding healthy and unhealthy fats, including lists of fats that are best to eat and fats you should limit in your diet.
“Fats are an important part of your diet,” NIH stated. “They give you energy and help you feel satisfied after eating. They also help your body absorb vitamins and maintain healthy organs, skin and hair. But some fats are better for you than others.”
