NAHC's dedicated team of researchers tracks trends and developments affecting home care and hospice. NAHC members are given ready access to this vital information, giving you a competitive advantage over nonmembers.

Here are some examples of how NAHC's Research Department regularly assists members:

  • On behalf of its members, NAHC Research staff identified problems with CMS calculations of Medicare home health reimbursement rates, which led to increases in cost limits for home health agencies.
  • After receiving a call from a reporter with a local newspaper, a member called to find out the number of persons employed in home care. NAHC referred to information in Basic Statistics About Home Care for up-to-date information from the Bureau of Labor Statistics on the home care labor force.
