In 1995, the NAHC Board of Directors established a proprietary affiliate within NAHC, called the Proprietary Home Care Association of America (PHCAA). PHCAA was established to encourage proprietary agencies to become more involved on a national level. PHCAA provides a forum within NAHC that focuses on issues and concerns of special interest to proprietary home care agencies.
