Voluntary Home Care Association of America (VHCAA)
Created in 1998, the Voluntary Home Care Association of America (VHCAA) promotes the interests of non-profit home care agencies and hospices. To accomplish this goal, VHCAA:
- Represents the interests of visiting nurse organizations and other non-profit community-based home care agencies, and promotes and presents a unified industry on legislative and regulatory issues;
- Provides educational opportunities tailored to the needs of this discrete group of providers; and
- Provides up-to-the-minute information to help guide these providers;
- Increases public awareness and support of home care in both the media and the general public.
