NAHC’s research department provides homecare and hospice data to its members and the public. These resources are intended to advance the knowledge of those involved in the health care industry, as a well as educate policy makers and the public.

State Fact Sheets (NAHC Members Only)

The State Fact Sheet Compendium includes individual fact sheets for all US states, Washington DC, and several territories. Data includes a home health and hospice "snapshot" of each state, providing information regarding the number of Medicare home health and hospice agencies, patients served, number of visits, and annual Medicare reimbursement. Other information includes home health agency ownership types (e.g., proprietary, non-profit), the number of full-time equivalent (FTE) staff, and average OASIS scores for the state. A state map is also provided, which shows how many counties are served by home care agencies. Non-members may purchase these through the Caring Store.
