Why Belong to HAA?Dear Friends: I want to tell you why my agency belongs to the Hospice Association of America (HAA). HAA is a national organization representing hospices from across the country along with thousands of caregivers and volunteers who serve terminally ill patients and their families. An energetic, committed hospice advocate, HAA was ranked the most effective health care trade organization on Capitol Hill by Congressional offices. HAA shapes the national legislative and regulatory agenda affecting our community. HAA is an affiliate of the National Association for Home Care and Hospice (NAHC), the world's largest organization representing hospice and home care. In this time of change and uncertainty in the health care environment, HAA gives me a precious sense of balance and control over my destiny. And, my membership saves my agency both time and money. Here's how.
Why do we belong to HAA? Because HAA meets our basic needs, puts dollars on the bottom line, and most importantly, makes it possible for us to provide quality care to more patients. I rest easier knowing I have a strong advocate in Washington who always looks out for the interests of hospice patients and families. Right now we are facing great challenges.
