will be charged a deposit equal to one nights reservation. You will receive
your deposit back if you cancel within 48 hours of check in.

The Mandalay Bay is sold out of our group rate rooms on
October 1 & 2, 2011 however they still have rooms available at the prevailing
rate of $325.00++/night on October 1 and $330.00++/night
on October 2 (subject to change). The hotel is completely
sold out on October 3, 2011. The group rate is still
available on October 4, 5 & 6, 2011. There
are rooms still available at our group rates at the Excalibur
Hotel & Casino and Luxor Hotel & Casino hotels if you
wish to book a room at one of those properties.

Hotel Options for Every Pocketbook
NAHC has negotiated discounted hotel room rates for
all our attendees at the following official convention
hotels. We strongly encourage all attendees to book accommodations
at one of the official hotels directly, all of which
are conveniently located within walking distance to the
Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino. If you chose to stay
at a different hotel you will need to factor in additional
transit time and cost to your travel budget.

The Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino is considered one of the finest
hotels in all the world.
Three main towers housing two hotels within the hotel. The Hotel is the
pride and joy of the establishment. It is a 68 story, non smoking five Diamond
property. The Las Vegas Four Seasons Hotel also occupies several floors
of another tower. The hotel features an 11 acre wave pool surrounded by
mountains of sand and palm trees to give the illusion to sun tan creme soaked
visitors that they are in Tahiti or some other tropical island.
In addition to the casino, there is a 15,000 seat events center and other
facilities which NAHC will use to host its 30 th anniversary convention.
The Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino is located just to the north of McCarran
International Airport. It is a short ride by taxi. Visitors should expect
to pay $16-20 one way for the ride. There is also an Ambassador service
available for $8-13.50. Convention attendees can call (702) 362-6200 in
advance to arrange for transportation. To rent a car, please call McCarren
Airport’s Rent-A-Car Center at (702) 261-6001.
Most attendees will be staying at Mandalay Bay but those who want fine
accommodations for less cost can stay across the street at the Luxury hotel
which is easily identified by the Egyptian style Pyramid that is located
in front of the building. The map below provides the interior layout of
the Mandalay Bay headquarters hotel for the convenience of attendees.
General session halls are in blue. Educational workshops will be housed
in rooms colored yellow. The exhibit hall which will be used to host the
NAHC 30th Anniversary Exposition appears in green.

Reservations: The hotel reservation deadline for all
three hotels listed is Tuesday, August 30, 2011. You will be able to enter,
modify or cancel your own reservations online at the NAHC
30th Annual Meeting & Exposition
web site. You can also call the hotel directly at the numbers listed beginning
January 4, 2011. Please reference the NAHC 30th Annual
Meeting & Exposition to receive the discounted conference rates. All reservations must be accompanied
by the first night’s room/suite rate deposit plus tax. Your credit
card will be charged the one night’s deposit at the time the reservation
is made.
It is very important that you register for the Annual Meeting & Exposition
before you make your hotel reservation. We ask that you refrain from booking
extra rooms in case of possible attendance by yourself, peers or colleagues.
Please book only those rooms you actually need so that other attendees can
book with an official convention hotel.
Cancellation Policy: The Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino
and Luxor Hotel & Casino require that guests notify the hotel forty-eight
(48) hours prior to their scheduled arrival date to avoid a cancellation
charge and receive a full refund. Depending on the method of deposit or
guarantee, the hotels will charge the guests one night’s guest room/suite
rate and tax for cancellation within forty-eight (48) hours of the scheduled
arrival date or failure to check-in on the scheduled arrival date.
The Excalibur Hotel & Casino’s cancellation policy requires
that guests notify the hotel seventy-two (72) hours prior to their scheduled
arrival date to avoid a cancellation charge and receive a full refund. |
