NAHC Announces Pre-Conference Workshops for 2015 Financial Management Conference & Exposition
The National Association for Home Care & Hospice (NAHC) today announced the pre-conference sessions that will be available as part of the 2015 Financial Management Conference & Exposition taking place June 28 – 30 at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center in Nashville, TN.
This year’s conference offers participants the choice of one of the four following pre-conference workshops: Hospice Summer Camp, Home Health Summer Camp, CPA Summer Camp, and Addressing Human Resources Issues in Home Care.
“The pre-conference workshops are designed to provide home care and hospice executives with refreshed and enhanced skills in specialized topic areas,” said William Dombi, Vice President for Law at NAHC and the Director of the Home Care & Hospice Financial Management Association, a NAHC affiliate. “This year, we expanded our pre-conference offerings to include two additional workshops for those who want to focus on CPA and human resources issues. Past attendees suggested expanded programming for CPAs who need continuing education in subject areas not normally offered at health care conferences. Also, HR and financial management are tied together in many ways. The new preconference offers financial managers a look into the issues that drive that part of home care operations.”
