HHVBP Webinar Rescheduled

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has rescheduled a series of webinars for the home health value based purchasing (HHVBP) program. CMS also wants to remind participating agencies that registration for an EIDM User ID is required. In addition, the EIDM user ID and the point of contact information must be emailed to the HHVBP Helpdesk

Upcoming webinars for the HHVBP Model have been rescheduled to give Home Health Agencies more time to register. The dates, topics for each webinar, and the links to sign-up are provided below. The topics and links are the same and have not changed. CMS is hosting these sessions to provide HHAs in the Model states with important information and resources. All webinars will be held at 2 PM Eastern time.

If you have already registered, you do not need to re-register or provide new information. You will use the same links provided to you in the confirmation email you received after you first registered. If you previously downloaded the Calendar appointment, click the link to the audience URL you received in an email when you first registered and download the new calendar invite from the webinar lobby webpage.

NAHC, LCAO to Sponsor U.S. Presidential Forum on February 17th
NAHC Members Encouraged to Submit Questions

The National Association for Home Care & Hospice (NAHC), as a member of the Leadership Council of Aging Organizations (LCAO), is cosponsoring a U.S. presidential candidate forum, Seniors Decide 2016. It will take place at 1 p.m. EST on Wednesday, February 17th, 2016, at George Mason University, in Arlington, Virginia.

LCAO is a 72-member coalition of the nation’s non-profit organizations serving older Americans, including NAHC. It is dedicated to preserving and strengthening the well-being of America’s older population, and provides a voice for seniors and their families in the ongoing debate on aging policy.

Seniors Decide 2016 is the only presidential candidate forum dedicated to issues affecting older Americans. “The Leadership Council of Aging Organizations has enjoyed strong working relationships with U.S. Presidents of both parties,” said LCAO Chair Max Richtman. “We developed Seniors Decide 2016 as a forum to begin a dialogue with the country’s next President about policies and programs that serve the needs of a diverse and growing population of older Americans.”
