Modern Healthcare is holding its annual vote for the “100 Most Influential People in Healthcare,” an honor that recognizes individuals who are dedicated to the healthcare industry and its impact on the American public.
The magazine invites readers to nominate and vote for the most influential leaders in the health care industry. Nominations for the ballot began on April 4, and voting from the official list of candidates runs from May 23, 2011 to June 24, 2011. Readers choose five nominees and winners will be announced Aug. 22, 2011.
The National Association of Home Care and Hospice (NAHC) says that having an industry leader who is dedicated to advancing the home care and hospice issues reinforces and enhances public and political awareness. It is encouraging its members to go to Modern Healthcare's web site and vote for the home care industry during the magazine's open voting period.
