WASHINGTON D.C. (Oct. 19, 2011) – Val J. Halamandaris, president of the National Association for Home Care & Hospice (NAHC) released the following statement about the Department of Health and Human Services announcement on the CLASS Act.

“With the 78 million baby boomers coming into majority, Americans must come to grips with the need to mitigate disability and assistance with the management of chronic disease.  The Class Act was an excellent first step toward winning the last great civil rights battle and an imperative which will determine the longevity of America and our place in history.”
