Home Care Planning & Improvement Act S. 296 / H.R. 2150

After 13 years of perseverance and advocacy efforts from the home care communities, the Home Care Planning and Improvement Act passed into law under the CARES Act in 2020 finally allowing highly skilled non-physician practitioners (NPPs) the ability to authorize and order home health care services under the Medicare benefit. Thank you to all of our advocates for your dedication and passion. We could not have done this without you.

Congress must act to allow NPPs to order home health services.
