Update on NAHC Operating Status


The spread of the novel coronavirus, COVID-19, has created a public health concern unlike any recent American experience. The National Association for Home Care & Hospice (NAHC) must balance our duty to serve our members with concern for the health and safety of our staff. Accordingly, NAHC staff are now working from their homes, but they remain on call to serve you and your employees, so that you can continue to serve your patients.

NAHC will remain fully operational and in most cases you will experience no difference in your interaction with NAHC staff. We will continue to communicate with you through emails, the listserv, and our daily newsletter NAHC Report. Your phone calls will be answered but you will need to use our staff directory to direct your call.

Otherwise, our work will go on as it always has and you will continue to receive the highest level of service and attentiveness you have come to expect and deserve from NAHC.

During this time, we encourage you to regularly check the Coronavirus Resources Page on the NAHC website, as it is updated daily with the most current information on the coronavirus pandemic, as well as resources to help home care and hospice operators deal effectively with the situation.

NAHC is continuing to advocate for common sense policies in Washington, D.C. to help you manage this situation while keeping your staff and patients as safe as possible. We will be with you through this crisis and beyond. More than ever, enabling patients to remain in their own homes is the solution to America’s health care problems. Stay safe and stay strong.
