(REGISTRATION IS FULL – RECORDING AVAILABLE ON 3/16)
To assist the home care and hospice community in dealing with COVID-19 in the United States, NAHC has developed a new COVID-19 Resources webpage that will be updated frequently with news and up to date information and guidance on best practices and effective infection control.
Coronavirus Disease, COVID-19, was first discovered in China in December of 2019 in a cluster of pneumonia cases. This is a novel virus that is continuing to spread around the world. As with any other newly identified virus there is much to learn about the disease process, mode of transmission, incubation period, symptoms, and treatment.
At this point in time the home care and hospice care industry should be preparing for altered and crisis standards of care. A review of your pandemic plan should be occurring right now and processes should be updated. The home care and hospice care practice is dependent on personnel, so up to date information and training is essential.
This webinar is being presented by Barbara Citarella, in partnership with NAHC, on Friday, March 13th from 1:00 to 2:00 PM Eastern. Gain insights into the latest information on COVID-19 and the implications for home care and hospice.
