About the Faculty

Marissa Brinkman
Marissa Brinkman is a dedicated product manager, client advocate, and dog person. At Relias, she works with post-acute care organizations to develop quality education aimed at setting caregivers up for success and delivering quality care. Marissa attended North Carolina State University where she studied psychology and communication (with a minor in statistics). With a background in academic research, she takes an analytic perspective to develop strategic solutions clients need to excel in the presence of challenges such as an aging population, global pandemic, and staffing shortages. She is passionate about helping her clients improve the patient experience of care across the post-acute care continuum.

Theresa Raines, MBA
As a Solutions Architect for Relias, Theresa Raines works with post-acute care organizations to tailor the Relias Learning Management System to their needs. She has over 15 years of training and development experience focused on improving employee engagement and quality. Throughout her career, she has worked with Human Resources, Compliance, Clinical Education, and IT executives to improve onboarding, continuing education, and professional development. Theresa received her MBA from Indiana University and is a long-time member of the Association for Talent Development (ATD). She is married with two children, both nurses. In her spare time, she enjoys painting and hiking.
